In case this is important to someone, somewhere, sometime in the future:

When the SF Giants won the 2010 World Series I was sitting at home practicing scales and listening anxiously to the neighbors because I knew if I watched the game the bad guys would win.

AHHH, OK!!! (I am a tiny bit worried about you but I will ignore that and figure you are OK)

I am impressed you were practicing scales. I need to do this, It would help allay my own anxieties which have to do with work and the household.

Keep on practicing!

I'm ok. Just been quiet. And it is nice to be off the street front tonight!

Nobody has allowed me to watch a football game in years, because they say I always make the wrong team win, me. Maybe there's somethin to it.

Yeah I had to figure out for myself that my gaze was poison to ballclubs trying to win championships. The only one I've watched "my team" win was the very first World Series won by the Atlanta Braves. Growing up in GA I used to cheer for them and they sucked rocks back then.

Except for that, every single time I watch and cheer for somebody, they lose. And you know, baseball is especially susceptible to the winds of fortune. A person has to be very careful. :)

Hi there! I am going to try to respond to your post soon. I've been feeling somewhat at a loss for words lately, though, so it might take a bit. Good to see you are still kicking.
