I edited that paper's grammar without worrying unduly about the content, so although it may be dull, it is in correct English now. when I first started editing I worried about content way too much and so it took me way too long to do papers that I thought needed a lot of shoring up content-wise, but that is, I am told, not my job.

it's my job when I teach, but not when I edit for grammar and syntax.
