in a minute I am getting dressed and going to Philz for a jolt because today I have work to do over in Berkeley and I have a ticket for a 2:30 showing of Adam. Nan saw it at the SF Jewish Film Festival and ever since she's been quite gung ho about seeing if I can get an assessment for Asperger's because apparently she recognized a lot of me in the protagonist. of course this means I will be going to the theater with high expectations of identifying with the main character--something I rarely do unless they are nuts or artistic or both.
I'll let you all know what I think. on Monday I left Nan with a bunch of phone numbers of possible places to go to be looked at through a neurolinguistic microscope; she was going to call them for me and also because now she's interested in the topic almost as much as I am. I guess that's reasonable; she makes her living figuring people out.
um.
that's all I guess. for now anyway. the user pic has nothing to do with my post but I thought it was funny given my Jack Chick trauma. if you don't know, this is exactly what god looks like in Jack Chick tracts. usually when he points at you like that you are about to get tossed into the lake of fire.
ok maybe the joke isn't funny when you have to explain it. but now you know!
morning.
