I don't know how all y'all can get hundreds of pics up within 15 minutes of returning home. I have to tweak each and every one by hand and even though I've made a couple of presets to help with my weakness for underexposed pics they still only get me started cause each frame is just a little different from all the others.

So I took about 300 digital frames in Seattle, give or take a dozen. Here are eighteen of them. I expect to be able to extract ten, maybe twenty more. Can I just say I am really glad I don't have to buy film anymore? If I did, I probably wouldn't bracket my shots, though, or take 15 of one thing moving one inch to the right for each one to see which looks best enbiggened.

Yay, pictures of Seattle. Thanks for these. Even the manhole covers are Seattle manhole covers. (Not that I recognize them, just sayin.)

The look of the sky, the prospects of hills--those things thrill me and break my heart. The featureless of the land in Boston unnerves me. It's so flat. I know there are hills, but I never look up and see a hill or water appearing to start right at the end of the block.

You're welcome. :) I'll have more later on today unless I fall asleep.

I don't know how similar Boston and Atlanta are, but down there the air quality in the high heat and humidity makes everything murky and indistinct, especially the sky itself. And I remember gentle rolling hills from which you never got a spectacular view because none of them were all that high. Our first year in Seattle was spent gawking at the views and the dramatic sky.

It's probably the rust on the manhole covers that looks familiar.

Boston is murky and indistinct even when you're on the ground.

I LIKE your pictures!

I tried to comment right at them but it said I needed to make an account and honestly....well. Not right now.
