Two quotes, one very quotable from someone of whom I had no knowledge and one more understated from this year's winner of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for poetry [youtube link].

Michelle Taransky of Jacket Magazine is said to be writing a full review but says this thus far:
I just received ONE LAST DITCH today and it's just lovely.

what an opening.  heartbreaking and energizing--- and strange.  I am hooked.

And the book is still for sale, too, from my blog. Just sayin'. If you are local you can save on shipping and coax me out for coffee or ice cream--the latter if you would like your book hand-delivered to an unfogged location.

I think I might read out tomorrow. On the street, I mean. Watch this space if you think you might be wandering around the Mission at bar time. I usuall try to stand in the Wells Fargo entryway at 22nd and Mission unless someone is sleeping there; then I move down the street someplace just south of Foreign Cinema wherever I can find light and relative quiet.
