the good news is if i unplug the computer i can't do any more work. the bad news is if i unplug the computer i can't do any more work.
i know i could just read or even write with [*gasp*] pencil and paper but the rhythm i've grown accustomed to consists of reading in the living room and dashing in here every fifteen minutes or so to madly type in my thoughts on what i'm reading. the problem you see is that at my age one forgets what one was going to say if one labors slowly in longhand. only at the keyboard can i get it all out before it vanishes.
i wonder if i could get by with marginal notations.
