remember a time when we could read books for the sheer enjoyment of getting lost in the story and every sentence didn't evoke a necessity to justify one's feelings about the sentence in question? remember a time when the narrative swept us along never getting stuck on the finer points of cognition and recognition where memory stagnates and obsesses and demands answers now to what narratively speaking should remain with no answer and which once did remain joyfully without answer?

how in a moment of sheer youth i could identify immediately with the rogue force and how now the reactionary compulsions that i still have not mastered years after their final eruption shout down all rogue forces with cries of systematicity and security and a safe if vaguely unhappy status quo.
