widgetry

now I am posting using a widget instead of a real client. I'm not sure what the advantage of this would be unless the widgets load a lot faster after the first time you open them.

the very first thing I had to download and reinstall, besides firefox, was the little control panel thingy that allows windowshading, like the old OS: click the title bar of your window and everything but the title bar disappears. there is a version for windows too but I don't feel like turning around to look up the name for you.

I think I have to stop soon. my elbow is sore from being bent to the trackpad all day.
