Chilly weather is expected to continue into the weekend... as a cold
low pressure system drops southward out of the Gulf of Alaska and
into northern California. This will bring increasing chances of rain
Friday through Sunday with with snow levels down to 2000 feet...
possibly lower. It is possible that accumulating snowfall could
affect such roadways as Skyline drive and across The Summit of
Highway 17.
I'm thinking a weekend drive down hwy 35 (Skyline drive) could be indicated. maybe stopping for a hike down the coastal side of the mountains.
it won't be that cold.
