break

one hour = 10 pages. these are densely printed, big pages and they're stein so you have to read slowly to get the rhythm and the meaning otherwise you just get the rhythm which might be good in some applications but not dissertating ones. now I am stopping for a bit as the heavy eyelids were beginning to weigh. I already took a walk and am resorting to energy drink to get me through another hour or two. I hope it works. sometimes like coffee all these additional ingredients will also cause the paradoxical reaction of instant nap. it's one of those things that you don't know until you know.

maybe I should install those blinds I bought a year ago. except that the afternoon sun is starting to pour through this window and although the weather underground said 'much cooler' for today this is the mission which often gets left completely out of any 'much cooler' plans. so maybe some other day. it would be a good time to have them already hanging but not such a good time to hang them. instead I will lean my two illustration board paintings against the top window where santiago has cleared out all the louvers so as to have an unobstructed runway between my bed and my shelves. the new blind is not louvered but simply a rollup piece of fabric. I figure I can keep it rolled up except between the hours of 2 and 5pm. I don't much care if the neighbors see me dressing.

if I can get through another 10 pages I'll consider the day a success. I can't skip to the end yet because these pages are turning out to be crucial to my argument. see this is why I keep not skipping to the end--they just get crucialer and crucialer.

well it'll be done when it's done.
