I just had to share this video posted in transgender. beware of deep deep sarcasm and cutting humor.

random stalker from debunking white
Hi! I just jumped to your journal to make sure you were american before making my facetious remark, and I'm glad I did since this video is cool :)

isn't she wonderful?

I'm not usually up at this hour but I took a "nap" from 5pm to 11pm and now, well, I guess I'm on australian time.

she's terrific, but the bad 1950s educational filmstrip music was driving me crazy. *g*

hehe. actually I thought the music was one of the best things about it--the irony of it of course. I can see where it could be distracting though.

yes, it was perfect for it, but i'm easily bothered by things like that if they go on a bit too long for me.

it made me think of films they showed us in grade school, like the one with the talking red blood cell named Hemo. :D

ah yes the old black and white films that would get stuck in the projector and melt or start making that clicking sound while they got all blurry on the screen and we'd yell for the teacher to fix it--my goodness. of course s/he would fix it. we didn't need to yell!

well actually I remember more than one occasion where the teacher fell asleep and we did have to yell or at least poke.

in georgia, our films were always prefaced with a good long look at the state seal, complete with flag that incorporated the confederate flag (it's changed since then), while a warbly version of "Dixie" played over and over again. I don't remember any particular film, but I remember that opening for each and every one of them.

i have a huge femme crush on her. i've been watching her reality dating show and i've never giggled so much during a panic attack.

sorry about the panic attack. glad she was able to get you to giggle it out.
Mar. 1st, 2008 05:47 pm (UTC)
it's a very good show. once you watch a few episodes, you will understand the panic attacks! fortunately, they subside.

I see. I wonder if I should medicate myself before watching. or is it a femme thing?
Mar. 1st, 2008 06:10 pm (UTC)
i would prescribe xanax for the first three episodes. don't get me wrong, they're excellent! but, some parts are difficult. but good.

ah, ok. I even have some of that for my intense fear of flying. I will be sure to have some on hand for melting under the tongue in case things get intense.
