will sleep anywhere for money

so I think I just slept like 5 hours in my chair.

maybe four and a half. it's hard to tell as I was in the middle of answering a comment untrique left at 12:30 and I woke up just now at almost 5:30, ravenous and somewhat rested, actually. cold, but I hadn't managed to put on any pajamas yet.

I'm going to eat and then sleep some more in my bed and see how that goes. I swear I passed out cold--I don't even remember closing my eyes.

I wonder if my system log has any record of the last things I did before I fell asleep--I really want to know how long I managed to sleep bolt upright in my chair. sometimes I purposely recline and put my feet up and sleep, but I woke up feet on the floor, no recline, chin on chest and glasses perched precariously on knee. no idea when I fell asleep.

What a night you've had! You did a big chunk of work talking to those people; no wonder you were exhausted! Take care.

Sleep, nature's balm
My sister used to sleep standing - how cool is that? My first boss could snap sleep, in the back of her white mercedes parked in the company car park, for exactly ten minutes then return refreshed and ready to roll for hours. I need to believe, if not know, everyone (everywhere) is asleep before I can fall into a peaceful nights sleep (childhood cause) hence, I cannot sleep next to anyone as they move and fidget and breathe and snore and all manner of hellish activity that keeps me terrorised by conscious waking fretting. A sleeping chair sounds excellent. I procrastinate about plopping a reading/sleeping chair in my tiny room near the window for such delightful, work/reading induced cat naps bolting out of the blue like free, side effect free drugs :)
